Anterior Vertical Augmentation (Through and Through Defect)

This patient is a 39 year old lady with history of failed implants.

The periosteum and bone defect made this procedure very challenging. Stabilising the membrane with a palatial pin was difficult.

I decided on harvested autogenous and Geistlich Bio-Oss (60:40) for GBR, covered with a cytoplast membrane, secured with Meisinger master pins. Geistlich Bio-Gide over the top and stabilized completely with cytoplast sutures.

Flap advancement was achieved by orbicularis muscle dissection, perioelastoplasty, papillae shift technique.
